Audrey Skips, the children's book about Melbourne's iconic Skipping Girl sign, is written by award winning author Andrea Rowe and illustrated by Lisa Coutts, a collaboration celebrating the landmark's history with themes of hope, conservation, and community effort.

The book, set to launch in 2026 for the Skipping Girl's 90th anniversary, tells the story of the neon sign and how people helped her shine again.
